Blackfield Associates will be taking part in Jeans for Genes Day, which is on Friday 21st September 2018.
Jeans for Genes Day is run annually by Genetic Disorders UK, who work to improve the lives of individuals and families living with genetic disorders. Jeans for Genes Day is specially created to raise funds to support children affected by genetic disorders.
There are around 6,000 genetic disorders, and it is estimated that 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder.
This year, the Blackfield Associates team will take turns on a static bike, courtesy of the Village Hotel Portsmouth, to ride as many miles as they can within 6 hours. The event will be live streamed on Facebook in intervals throughout the day.
Blackfield Associates is a specialist within Life Sciences recruitment and is part of the STR Group. The rest of the group will take part by sponsoring the team and wearing ‘Double Denim’!
